Probiotic Sufficiency Benefits
These days, unfortunately, many of us don’t have enough “good” bacteria in our intestinal tracts. Causes for this vary, including overuse of antibiotics, poor diet, and so on. Perhaps the biggest cause for this is that we simply aren’t exposed to them the way we once were; while our ancestors were exposed to a myriad of friendly bacteria in the soil and the environment in general, we have eradicated much of this good bacteria from our environment, either purposefully through use of antibacterial products, or through simple overuse of the soil, as one example, so that it simply no longer contains these things. Other factors that contribute to the disappearance of these “good” bacteria include pollution, ozone layer depletion, increased radiation, and increased processing of foods we eat in our diets.
The simple fact of the matter is, though, we need to have adequate friendly bacteria, called probiotics, in our diets so that our intestines have the proper balance. Literally, “probiotics” means “for life,” while “antibiotics” means “against life.” So it might surprise you to know that even though antibiotics are “good” when they eradicate so-called bad bacteria, they also do a detriment to us and to our health in the killing of good bacteria.
Health problems caused by probiotic insufficiency
There are a host of problems caused by probiotic insufficiency, including increased infections like bladder infections, yeast infections, digestive problems like nausea, gas, bloating, diarrhea, constipation, and overall health problems such as an increased susceptibility to colds and flu, etc. Lack of probiotics in the system has been linked to such health problems as elevated cholesterol levels, inability to absorb nutrition from foods, even susceptibility to cancer. In fact, many of our problems today could simply be cured by increasing the probiotics in our systems.
Probiotic Sufficiency can help
The good news to all of this is that we can increase the good bacteria we need relatively easily. One particularly potent product, Probiotic Sufficiency, contains multiple strains (nine strains, in fact) of the “good” bacteria we need to remain healthy. Our ancestors got these routinely in their diets because they ate food free of pesticide sprays, and because the soil itself contained these beneficial bacteria. Among them are of course Lactobacillus acidophilus, which you may have heard of; you may not know, however, that you also need Lactobacillus plantarum, one of the most common bacteria in our ancestors’ digestive tracts, Lactobacillus rhamnosus, and Lactobacillus casei. In short, you need nine strains in all, and it’s quite difficult to get them just for your diet, because it’s been so altered as compared to our ancestors’.
Best of all, if you’re a vegetarian, take heart; Probiotic Sufficiency is vegetable-based, and in case you are allergic, it is also dairy, soy and wheat free. It’s based upon the “innate” diet that our ancestors got, so that you know you’re getting everything you need for a long and healthy life.
